Viola is a photographer and radio journalist, author among others of the series from ‘Risalento, towards a new Apulian landscape title’ (in Italian) broadcasted on Rai Radio3.

Her works and her radio works are photographic from intimate stories inserted in contexts poised between human and environmental tensions.

For 3 years she left her residence in Paris to investigate the environmental problems of Salento, in particular in the land of Arneo where she now lives and is the keeper of a newborn forest.
Since she has become a firefly in August 2022 Valeria also takes an active part in FFF sonic life.
