Viola is a photographer and radio journalist, author among others of the series from "Risalento, towards a new Apulian landscape title" (in Italian) broadcasted on Rai Radio3 .

Her works and her radio works are photographic from intimate stories inserted in contexts poised between human and environmental tensions.

For 3 years she left her residence in Paris to investigate the environmental problems of Salento, in particular in the land of Arneo where she now lives and is the keeper of a newborn forest.
Since she has become a firefly in August 2022 Valeria also takes an active part in FFF sonic life.
