Raphael Daibert
- Who we are
Raphael Daibert (1988) is a Brazilian researcher who works in the intersection of curating, producing and art practice. Based in Germany, for the last ten years he was working and living in São Paulo. He is currently completing his Master’s in Art Praxis at the Dutch Art Institute. He is a founding member of Lanchonete.org - an artist-led cultural platform that lived and researched the center of São Paulo and its contemporary urgencies through different artistic forms. With the artist Mavi Veloso, they develop TravaLíngua, an ongoing project that researches vocal and performative practices with people transitioning between genders or sexual identities. From 2016-2018 he was part of ArtsEverywhere.ca editorial team. Raphael is part of Free Home University (Italy) since 2015 with different roles and modes or participantion and was a fellow researcher at the University of British Columbia, Canada, through ‘Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures’ study group. His main interests and works come together through engaged art projects around queerness, performativity, anti-coloniality, migrations, right to the city and different forms of pedagogies. Besides all that Rapha is a PhD of FHU too.
