The there-day slow-flow gathering organized by Urška Jurman and Elke Krasny in Ljubljana offers its participants time to reflect on the necessity of changing trajectories of today’s curatorial practices. Having a clear feminist perspective in common each participant offers their own localized, rooted, nourished experiences as ingredients for a common meal yet to be cooked together.
Visits the self-organized communal city gardens for both food cultivation and re-wildening the urban space. Together with activists and bio experimenters to walk and reflect through the unfinished and abandoned concrete buildings - witnesses of the capitalist economic crizes boosted by the local real-estate market. Former future parking lots and office buildings are now taken over and feralized by urban nature and activist researchers.
During the three days there’s space (un)formed for reflection with sessions of meditation and Qi Gong (with Joulia Strauss); mapping and drafting possibilities for future in affinity and informal convivial time.
The Ecologies of Care working meeting is organized by the Igor Zabel Association, MGLC - International Centre of Graphic Arts, and Elke Krasny.
