Two-week intensive research process on novel forms of collaborative practices, a project by Gustav Mahler Private University for Music (GMPU) Klagenfurt, Austria; in collaboration with University of Technology (TU) Graz, Austria; supported by PEEK, Austrian Science Fund (FWF) 2022 -2025. Hosted by Free Home University at Loop House residency program in San Cesario di Lecce, Italy.
simularr experiments with forms of togetherness across disciplinary boundaries, using spatiality and simultaneity as cohesive forces and open concepts that bind the group as a whole while preserving the singularities of each participant, balancing between proximity and curious distancing.

Local hosts Alessandra Pomarico and Nikolay Oleynikov of Free Home University will share their situated knowledge through a series of visits to contested territories and communities of resistance in Salento.
On April 4th Loop House will open its doors for an informal sharing of the work realized during the residence, and a conversation on artistic investigations and research methods.

FHU at ArtsEverywhere festival
On January 24 the ArtsEvery festival started in Guelph, Ontario with an opening lecutre presenting pedagogies, practices and urgencies of Free Home University. At the Art Gallery Guelph Alessandra Pomarico gave a talk about the vision, the various articulations and the tools that have emerged during these 5 years. In the room with us Dani D'Emilia, Elwood Jimmy, Shawn Van Sluys, Vanessa Andreotti, Rene Susa, who contributed sharing their perspective and experience of our process.
