Trans-European Partizan Jam || Chapter 1: Bella Ciao
- News
Arkadiy Kots have recorded the first piece from the collection with the participation of the incredible musicians Enza Pagliara and Dario Muci from Salento. It’s a part of the project we call Trans-European Partizan Jam where we are collecting the songs of antifascist resistance and recording them together yet distantly along with our comrades – international musicians and activists from Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Austria, Serbia and beyond.
Together with Kirill Medvedev (a prominent poet, translator and activist based in Moscow) and other musicians of Arkadiy Kots during this extended session of Free Home we will revoke the spoken and sang histories of antifascism and dedicate it to the antifascists of all kinds that keep this struggle alive, to those who strike against social injustice, racism, xenophobia and all kinds of discrimination today.
This record’s lineup is:
vocals – Nikolay Oleynikov, Maria Bogomolova, Enza Pagliara, Dario Muci;
drums – Ilya Bit-Garmus;
guitars – Sergey Ladrumm Kuzmin;
rhythm-guitar – Kirill Medvedev;
sound – Leonardo Perez (DTH Studios);
Russian lyrics – Kirill Medvedev;
cover design – Nikolay Oleynikov
