Free Home was invited to be part of Lo spirito del Grano at Mulino di Comunita’ where we presented the film of Chto Delat back to the community of Castiglione d’Otranto where it was shot during the FHU summer session of 2019. After the screening, an interesting discussion with the audience and Casa delle Agriculture’s member, touched upon question of migration, racism, agriculture, Zapatism politics and poetics and artistic processes.

The night included a presentation of celebration food prepared by some migrant communities mixed with local Salento tradition, and was concluded with the concert of troubadour Gigi Cardigliano (Florence/Salento) who performed a collection of songs of struggle from the South of the World, in many languages, including Grecanico, Roma, Spanish, French and Russian.
